Associate Engineer/Project Manager

As a Project Manager with CTL Thompson for over 10 years, Mr. Houlette’s engineering duties include conducting geotechnical investigations for commercial, industrial and residential sites. He prepares a variety of engineering reports; provides pavement design for heavy traffic operations, county roads and residential streets; performs slope stability analysis; designs and prepares construction drawings for mechanically stabilized earth structures; and investigates and designs retaining and shoring walls.

His field experience includes supervision and coordination of construction testing and observation during construction of municipal buildings, roadways and commercial/office parks and residential developments. He has performed forensic investigations of cracked/failed structures and slopes and prepared remedial repair design and construction recommendations. Mr. Houlette’s varied experience and technical expertise are highly valued by clients as well as internally.

As manager of the Colorado Springs office, he handles overall daily operations.
